12 Powers of Man The “Twelve Powers” refer to inner spiritual abilities that originate from God. These capabilities help us in our daily living and our spiritual growth. Everyone has all the powers, and they develop and grow as we practice using them. These God-given tools are ours to help develop inner balance, peace, and harmony. By familiarizing ourselves with these inner gifts of our Christ-nature, it becomes possible for our inner light to shine more clearly. Each month we will focus on one of the twelve powers. Each power is associated with a color, disciple, a symbol, a song, an affirmation, and a scripture. Each student has a name badge, and will receive a colored bead for that month each time they participate in a lesson. When they have earned 12 beads for attendance, they will receive a special silver bead to recognize outstanding participation. They will also be able to earn special beads when they memorize the color, disciple, and affirmation or scripture associated with a color. They can also earn a bead for giving a report (written or oral) about how they have used their power that month. Appropriate age adjustments will be made as necessary. Remember: Unity leaves no one out!
