LaDawn is originally from Provo, Utah and moved to Lompoc in 2001. She and Doug have three children, all girls. She is heavily involved in the PTA at the local, council and district level. She is a volunteer teacher for her children's classes and helps with the Unity Chapel of Light website. She also maintains the website for www.buenavistaschool.org. She is a Certified Novell Engineer, and was a Technical Support Engineer for Novell which is where she and Doug met. She enjoys public speaking, writing, learning new technology and meeting new people.
